Distributor FremantleMedia International has acquired the global rights to the British series Dogs: Their Secret Lives (pictured) and will launch it at MIPTV in Cannes next month.

Produced by Arrow Media for Channel 4, the four x 60-minute program delves into canine behavior and stars veterinary surgeon-turned-TV host Mark Evans. In each episode, he uses spy cameras and GoPro cameras to determine the causes behind issues that pets face, such as obesity, aggression and neurosis.

The show was originally commissioned as a one-off and later became a series and a live show.

FremantleMedia International will represent both the finished program and the format rights in all territories except the UK and Eire.
