U.S. prodco Half Yard Productions has named former production manager Deniz Bicioglu as head of production for the company’s Bethesda, Maryland office, a newly created role that will see the exec overseeing the headquarter’s production management and budgeting processes.

Bicioglu – who previously served as senior manager at Brainbox Talent – joined Half Yard in 2009 and has managed such series as Hillbilly Handfishin’ and Diggers. In her new role, she is to work alongside Nikki Cruz, head of production for the company’s New York office.

Meanwhile, further reshuffling at Red Arrow Entertainment Group-owned Half Yard includes the promotion of Janice Mezzetti, who joined Half Yard in 2010 and has been upped to VP of production and operations. Mezzetti’s duties are to include oversight of production management, post-production, business affairs and operations for the New York and Bethesda offices.

Elsewhere,  Cameron Young has been upped to director of post-production and technical operations, where he will oversee day-to-day running of post, graphics and IT, based in Bethesda. Young was previously at National Geographic Channels.

Young, Bicioglu and Cruz will all report to Mezzetti.

“We have seen tremendous company growth over the past few years and we are thrilled to be creating such a solid and experienced senior team to lead Half Yard into its next phase,” said Abby Greensfelder (pictured), co-owner of Half Yard Productions, in a statement.
