Ink Master: Redemption (six x half-hour) will begin filming this summer and premiere on the Viacom-owned cable network in September.

Spike has also renewed Ink Master for a 16-episode seventh season that will air next spring. Meanwhile, the sixth season of the tattoo competition series is slated to premiere on June 23.

The series is produced by Endemol Shine North America-owned Original Media. Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh and Andrea Richter are the exec producers.
