Channel 4 taps Lazenby as entertainment editor

The UK pubcaster has added former CPL executive producer Sarah Lazenby (pictured) to its newly combined factual entertainment and entertainment division.

UK pubcaster Channel 4 (C4) has named former CPL executive producer Sarah Lazenby as entertainment editor.

The appointment is the final position to be confirmed in C4′s newly combined entertainment and factual entertainment division, helmed by head of factual entertainment Liam Humphreys.

In her new role, Lazenby will join commissioning editor Syeda Irtizaali as well as incoming head of entertainment Ben Caudell, a former Objective Productions exec who is set to join C4 in the coming months.

Lazenby most recently exec produced the Game of Thrones live chat show ‘Thronecast’ for Sky Atlantic, and was previously an executive producer at NERD TV, where she worked on the series Find My First Love for A&E.

Further producing credits include Keith Lemon’s LemonAid (ITV), Gordon Ramsay’s F Word (Channel 4), Jamie’s Christmas Lock-In (Channel 4) and Staying In with Greg & Russell (BBC3).
