Great American Country wades into “Lake Docks”

The Scripps Networks Interactive-owned net will dive into lakeside living with two series from Whistlestop Productions and Farmhouse Productions, set to premiere this summer.

U.S. network Great American Country will dive into lakeside living with two series set to premiere this summer.

Produced by Whistlestop Productions for Blue Ant Media, Lake Docks and Decks is to spotlight contractors Jason Lake and Colin Hunter as they construct docks and decks for lakefront homes. The series will debut on August 22 at 1 p.m. EST/PST.

David Hatch and Stacy Hatch serve as executive producers for Lake Docks and Decks, while Samantha Linton is executive in charge of production.

Meanwhile, Lake Guys produced by Farmhouse Productions –  features brothers Kevin and Andrew Buckles as they engineer unique building projects designed to heighten the experience of lakeside living, including floating saunas, picnic table movie theaters and docks that double as bowling alleys.

Kent Sobey and Andrew Buckles are exec producing the series, which airs September 5 at 2 p.m. EST/PST across the Scripps Networks Interactive-owned channel.

Blue Ant International brokered the deals for the two series.
