A Destination America exec has moved to sister network TLC to work as VP of development and production.

Sara Helman will be based in the Discovery-owned network’s New York office, reporting to TLC executive VP of development and production Howard Lee.

Previously, she served as Destination America’s VP of development and production, overseeing the series Hillbilly Blood and Buying the Bayou. She also developed the channel’s first live show, Exorcism: Live!, and produced Alaska Haunting.

Prior to that, she was director of programming at Food Network and Cooking Channel and also served as manager and director of development for Animal Planet. While at the network, she worked on the programs Too Cute, Tanked, My Cat From Hell and Hillbilly Handfishin’.

Her first role at Discovery Communications came in 2003, as part of the development team for Discovery Kids.
