21st Century Fox exec joins A+E Networks Asia

Shilpa Jhunjhunwala will head up affiliate partnerships and sales in 16 territories as VP of network distribution for A+E Networks Asia.

A+E Networks Asia has hired 21st Century Fox exec Shilpa Jhunjhunwala as VP of network distribution.

The exec will be responsible for managing affiliate partnerships and sales for channel brands such as History, Lifetime and FYI across various platforms in 16 territories. She will also look for ways to build new revenue streams in the company’s linear and non-linear businesses.

Jhunjhunwala will be based in Singapore and report to A+E Networks Asia’s deputy MD, Prem Kamath.

Prior to joining A+E, she worked as senior director of corporate development for Asia and the Middle East at 21st Century Fox. She headed up projects that grew Fox International Channels and the Fox Sports business in the Southeast Asian market.

She has also worked in corporate development at ESPN Star Sports, and began her career at management consultancy group Accenture.
