Discovery Communications-owned channel Investigation Discovery is readying the November premiere of an investigative series around the true crime stories of polygamist families.

Produced by BriteSpark Films, the 3 x 60-minute series The Wives Did It (pictured) will journey inside the homes of polygamist perpetrators. Each episode is set to focus on one true crime story and features expert commentary from local authorities, as well as firsthand accounts from the victims’ families and friends.

BriteSpark Films’ Nick Godwin and Investigation Discovery’s Lorna Thomas serve as executive producers.

The Wives Did It premieres on November 6 at 10 p.m. EST/PST on Investigation Discovery.

“This series is a perfect storm of drama, as love and affection become clouded with raging jealousy and deadly competition,” said Henry S. Schleiff, group president of Investigation Discovery, American Heroes Channel and Destination America, in a statement.
