London-based social entertainment company Monterosa has named David Jullien (pictured) as head of international broadcast.

In the newly created role, Jullien will be charged with developing and bolstering new partnerships with broadcasters, producers and brands in an effort to expand “real-time digital TV experiences across global TV formats.”

Jullien boards Monterosa from Endemol Shine Group where he served as international business development director responsible for developing digital gaming and second-screen plans for the company’s global TV brands. Previously, Jullien spent a decade at French commercial channel TF1, where he served as head of digital gaming and social networks.

Monterosa’s interactive platform, LViS, is used by a raft of global broadcast companies such as TF1, Talpa and BBC Worldwide to create innovative TV programming for younger audiences.

“With such great traction already, I’ll be bringing my international production experience to the team, helping broadcasters, producers and their brand clients generate value from multi-screen audiences,” Jullien said in a statement.
