UK indie Raw TV has promoted Adam Hawkins (pictured) to executive VP of U.S. television.

The exec, who previously served as senior VP development, will work alongside Sam Maynard, the company’s executive VP of U.S. factual programming, and James Bates, senior VP and executive producer, on Raw TV’s Gold Rush .

Together, the team is tasked with continuing to grow Raw’s U.S. business. They will report to CEO Joely Fether and Raw TV founder Dimitri Doganis.

Hawkins will continue to work across the company’s U.S. unscripted slate and will also serve as an executive producer on key projects. In addition, he will look to expand Raw’s scripted offerings in the U.S., which include Discovery’s forthcoming Harley and the Davidsons.

The exec’s development credits include Race for the White House (CNN), No Man Left Behind (Nat Geo), Two in a Million (TLC), Women In Prison (Investigation Discovery) and Harley and the Davidsons and Homestead Rescue (Discovery).

Prior to joining the Discovery Communications-owned Raw TV in 2012, Hawkins served as head of development for RDF West, and was also a development executive for Cheetah and Zig Zag.
