TLC preps Next Entertainment’s “Love At First Kiss”

Discovery Communications-owned lifestyle net TLC is puckering up for Next Entertainment’s forthcoming dating series Love at First Kiss (pictured).

Produced in association with Warner Horizon Television, the eight-part series takes single individuals out of their comfort zones by having them kiss total strangers, without introduction, to determine whether one kiss can lead to love.

If either participant feels a spark, they can enjoy a two-minute speed date, which could lead to a date in the real world.

Each episode of the series introduces new singles – and some returning singles – to highlight the awkward, emotional and physical connections each pairing undergoes in their search for love.

Mike Fleiss, Martin Hilton and Bennett Graebner will serve as executive producers on the relationship series, which is based off of the Dutch format from Eyeworks.

Love at First Kiss premieres August 3 at 10 p.m. EST/PST on TLC.
