HGTV has found a new home in Poland. The Scripps Networks Interactive cable network will launch in the country in January 2017 as part of the Scripps-owned Polish media company TVN’s channel portfolio.

On top of HGTV’s popular international programming, HGTV Poland will air new local formats featuring Polish TV star Dorota Szelągowska (pictured) that will address the changing needs of Polish audiences, especially those related to DIY home remodeling.

“We’re confident the people of Poland will love the inspirational and aspirational offerings of HGTV that have made it such an entertainment powerhouse in America,” said Jim Samples, president of international for Scripps Networks Interactive, in a statement.

Poland is the first country in Europe to introduce its viewers to the American channel known for home improvement, gardening and other lifestyle programming.
