Our House Media (OHM) is continuing to build its unscripted biz.

The Toronto, UK, and Los Angeles-based company, which was acquired by Kew Media in 2017, has taken an undisclosed stake in the recently formed unscripted production company 4East Media.

The new prodco is led by Sharone Ostrovsky, Peter Esteves, Liz West and Sonya Roberts. The production industry members have worked on such projects as Hellfire Heroes (pictured, Discovery Channel), Shaun Majumder: Every Word is Absolutely True (HBO) and Cash Cab (Discovery Channel).

Based in OHM’s Toronto office, 4East Media will develop and produce unscripted content for the international market, with support from OHM execs Simon Lloyd and Joe Houlihan.

Terms of the investment were not disclosed.

In January of this year, OHM expanded its operations to LA in an effort to capture more business from the big digital players. It’s also recently produced the social experiment series Welcome to Waverley for Bravo in the U.S., Building Off the Grid for DIY Network, and season four of Paranormal Survivor for T+E in Canada and Travel Channel in the U.S.
