E! heads to the Philippines

Universal Networks International (UNI) will launch E! Entertainment Television in the Philippines on SkyCable.

The carriage agreement with the pay TV provider will make E!’s content available to almost 16 million households in Asia.

The Philippines E! channel will offer first-run and exclusive programming aimed primarily at females in the 18-49 age group, including E! News Asia, Fashion Police, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney & Kim Take New York, The Dance Scene and more.

Christine Fellowes, managing director, Asia Pacific, Universal Networks International, said of the news, “This launch enables us to continue E!’s ground-breaking momentum in pay-TV viewer enjoyment via top-quality and up-to-the-minute Hollywood entertainment content across Asia.”
