UK-based indie Twofour has named former Channel 4 commissioning editor Tamara Abood as its new head of factual.

Abood was formerly news and current affairs commissioning editor for the UK broadcaster, before which she worked on the network’s factual strand ‘Dispatches.’

The newly-created role will see her overseeing TwoFour’s factual slate, which includes brand-backed series Future Family.

Abood reports to Twofour creative director Andrew Mackenzie. In a statement, he said: “Scooping up Tamara is a real coup – she is one of the brightest brains in factual TV and has worked across a really broad range of factual programs.”
