Passion moves lifestyle content into France

Passion Distribution has licensed Baby Beauty Queens and Disco Diva Mums to NT1 in France, while other French broadcasters have picked up OWN titles such as Home Takeover with Simon and Tomas (pictured).

Passion Distribution has licensed Landmark Films’ Baby Beauty Queens and Disco Diva Mums to NT1 in France, while other French broadcasters have acquired OWN titles such as Home Takeover with Simon and Tomas (pictured).

NT1 has also picked up the one-hour special The Ultimate Guide to Penny Pinching, from Raw Television, as well as Figure 8 Films’ No Arms Needed and bought the presale rights to the third installment of Figure 8 Films’ six-part, 30-minute series Abby and Brittany: College and Beyond, focusing on the now 22-year-old conjoined twins.

Vivolta licensed such property and home makeover titles as Consumed seasons one and two from Paperny Films; Design Wars from Cineflix Productions, and RelativityREAL’s Carson Nation and Angel City Factory’s Home Takeover with Simon & Tomas, which have aired on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Elsewhere, French kids net Gulli concluded a deal for Kidnapped By the Kids, from Love Productions.

“France is proving to be a very vibrant market for lifestyle programming, and with the six new FDTT channels launching at the end of the year, Passion is becoming a key supplier for French broadcasters who are looking to fill their schedules with such top quality content,” said Maria Ishak, senior sales manager for Passion Distribution.
