Electus International, the global distribution arm of multimedia studio Electus, has upped Eli Shibley, formerly its executive director of international media and formats, to VP of that department, while also bringing on two new hires.

As VP of international media and formats, Shibley will be responsible for sourcing international formats for adaptation to the U.S. market, as well as overseeing Electus International’s commercial efforts throughout Europe and Africa.

Meanwhile, the company is also welcoming two new hires: Cyrus Farrokh, previously with Shine International and MRC, as executive director of international distribution and production; and Diego Piasek as director of that department. Piasek also joins Electus from Shine International.

Farrokh will oversee the distribution and acquisition of content in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, France, and Italy; while Piasek will handle Spain, Portugal, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Israel, Greece and Turkey.

All three will report to Electus International president John Pollak.
