Banijay Group’s Nordisk FilmTV has signed an output deal to launch new titles across Scandinavia with Elk Entertainment, an indie created by the former heads of Minute to Win It prodco Friday TV.

The pan-Scandinavian deal will see Nordisk’s production units across Denmark, Norway and Finland and Elk Entertainment working exclusively together to produce new titles. The two-year deal is the first of its kind for Elk.

“Elk Entertainment is one of the most – if not the most – talented and creative format divisors in Scandinavia,” said Peter Hansen, CCO of Nordisk FilmTV.

“Nordisk FilmTV has some of the strongest producers within all genres in the region, so the combination of the unique creativity of Elk Entertainment and Nordisk FilmTV’s production competencies is a dream match.”
