Israel’s Armoza Formats has signed a deal with China’s JiangSu Broadcasting Corporation (JSBC) to develop, broadcast and distribute reality formats.
The two companies are joining forces to launch the celebrity entertainment format I Can Do That at MIPCOM next month, and later this year Armoza will distribute JSBC’s reality competition Celebrity Battle.
“Today’s historic signing with Armoza Formats introduces a new phase of collaboration and original content development in the international market for JSBC,” said Zhao Jun (pictured above, right), head controller of JSBC’s programming department, in a statement. “As well this format, we at JSBC are looking forward to a fruitful creative partnership with Armoza Formats in the co-developing of new content for the future.”
Armoza CEO Avi Armoza (pictured, left) added: “We are thrilled to be joining forces with the top Chinese broadcaster, JSBC, in our two cores areas of expertise – format development and distribution.
“We look forward to continue growing this relationship with them in many more of our endeavors.”
