A+E Networks UK hires for Nordic distribution

Christian Høyer (pictured) has been tapped to lead A+E Networks UK’s affiliate distribution in the Nordic region, effective immediately.

In the newly created role of regional director of Nordic distribution, Høyer will concentrate his efforts in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland for A+E Networks’ portfolio, including History, Crime & Investigation Network, Lifetime, BIO and H2.

He will report to the company’s VP of commercial operations, Bakori Davis.

Prior to his new role, Høyer was the Nordic sales director of distribution for Discovery Networks Nordic and the director of distribution and marketing at SBS TV.

“Christian will play a pivotal role in driving growth of our channel portfolio in the Nordic region, leading our efforts across sales, business development and strategy,” said Davis.

“I am pleased and excited to be joining A+E Networks UK at a time when the company is experiencing such rapid expansion,” added Høyer.
