French distributor Terranoa and Germany’s Autentic Distribution have decided to pool their resources in time for MIPCOM 2014.

Effective immediately, Terranoa will represent Autentic’s catalog in France and the French-speaking regions of Switzerland, Belgium and Canada. Autentic will market Terranoa’s catalog in Germany, Austria and the German-speaking regions of Switzerland.

Both companies will handle their own coproduction and pre-sales activities.

Terranoa boasts a 1200-hour factual content catalog of travel and adventure, history and science and wildlife and environmental titles, and was founded in Paris in 2000 as part of the Gedeon Media Group.

Based in Cologne, Germany, Autentic Distribution is a joint venture between Munich-based documentary shingle Autentic and the WDR mediagroup.

“This affiliation establishes a strategic partnership between two strong, well-established brands,” said¬†Anne Hufnagel (pictured), Autentic Distribution’s managing director, in a statement.
