U.S. net Investigation Discovery will delve into the Las Vegas crime scene with a six-part series from New York-based prodco MY Entertainment.

As previously reported by realscreen, the producer penned a development deal with
Las Vegas district attorney (DA) Steve Wolfson (pictured) last year.

Investigation Discovery has now picked up the series, tentatively titled Las Vegas D.A., which is to provide a behind-the-scenes look into the Clark County District Attorney’s office and follow a team of 160-plus prosecutors led by Wolfson as they assess crime scenes while chasing conviction in the courtroom.

The series is to provide an investigative look into some of the more than 60,000 crimes a year, from attempted murders, high-profile homicides and shootings to robberies and celebrity scandals.

Michael Yudin, Joe Townley, Wilson Surratt and Wayne Root serve as executive producers for MY Entertainment, with Greg Klein and Jonathan Grosskopf co-exec producing. Investigation Discovery’s Eugenie Vink serves as senior executive producer.

Production on the series is to begin this fall and will premiere on Investigation Discovery in 2016.
