Keshet Int’l sales director departs

Cynthia Kennedy is leaving the distribution and production arm of Keshet Media Group after almost three years, realscreen has confirmed.

Cynthia Kennedy, sales director of Keshet International, is leaving the distribution and production arm of Keshet Media Group after two and a half years, realscreen has confirmed.

The London-based Kennedy started at the company in July 2013, and reported to Keren Shahar, MD of distribution at Keshet International. A Keshet spokesperson confirmed that Kennedy resigned from her position.

Among the deals brokered by Kennedy during her time at Keshet are the Canadian, Hungarian and Russian format sales for talent show Rising Star .

“Cynthia was a key member of the sales team. We thank her for her contribution over the time she was with us and wish her every success,” said Shahar in a statement shared with realscreen.

Kennedy joined Keshet from BBC Worldwide, where she served as a senior sales executive in format licensing. She previously held senior sales roles at Zodiak Entertainment, Outright Distribution, ID Distribution, Parthenon, A&E Television Networks and Channel 4 International.
