Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro (pictured) will trade in his rolling pin for an RV this summer when he hits the open road on Food Network’s Buddy’s Family Vacation.

Produced by Leftfield Pictures and Cakehouse Media, the eight-part series will follow Valastro, wife Lisa and their four kids as they journey across America to experience the flavors of the South.

The series follows the Valastro’s as they load up their recreational vehicle in New Jersey to travel to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where they are to make saltwater taffy the old-fashioned way before feeding alligators and eating spicy etoufee in New Orleans, embarking on ghost tours in Savannah, Georgia, and visiting Graceland and Dollywood in Tennessee.

Buddy’s Family Vacation premieres May 27 at 8 p.m. EST/PST with two back-to-back-episodes on Food Network. After its debut, all episodes will air in their regular 8:30 p.m. EST/PST time slot.
