Woodcut Media has doubled down on murder with two new true crime docs. The UK-based indie prodco has signed a deal with Sky free-to-air channel Pick to produce doc-series Britain’s Most Evil Killers and World’s Most Evil Killers, both of which are set to premiere in early 2017.

Britain’s Most Evil Killers (12×60) and World’s Most Evil Killers, put some of the most dangerous and prolific murderers in the UK and worldwide under the microscope, revealing what drove them to commit their heinous crimes. Notorious killers covered include Fred and Rose West, Ed Gein, Jeffrey Dahmer, Marc Dutroux and Beverley Allitt. Both series will feature first-hand accounts, expert views from top criminologists, crime journalists and psychologists, archive footage and stylized reconstruction.

The deal between Woodcut and Pick was brokered by Pick acquisitions executive Charlie Charalambous. Both series will be distributed internationally by Keshet International.
