Former Talpa exec Moe Bennani has been appointed creative director at unscripted and digital-focused prodco WeMake.
In his new role, Bennani will shepherd the development of original entertainment content and magazine shows for broadcast channels and digital platforms while adapting non-scripted formats.
Bennani joined the creative and development department at ITV-owned Talpa Media in 2013 after deciding to leave the world of finance. He rose to the position of senior creative, where he created, developed and participated in the production of a roster of international titles including Dance Dance Dance, 5 Gold Rings, Lies Allowed and The Perfect Picture.
“I’m delighted that Moe is joining the WeMake adventure. WeMake develops and produces drama, especially with Federation, and non-scripted content for linear television and digital platforms. With talents like Moe, I am convinced that France has what it takes to become a launchpad for formats towards the international market, as recently proven by The Big Music Quiz and Guess My Age,” said Bouchra Réjani, WeMake’s founder, in a statement.
Réjani, the former head of Shine France, founded WeMake in June 2017 in association with French indie Federation Entertainment. The company develops original non-scripted programming, digital content and drama for the French and global market while looking to acquire format and develop international partnerships.
