BBC Worldwide and FremantleMedia Netherlands and Belgium are teaming to produce BBCWW entertainment and non-scripted formats for the Benelux market.

The multi-year deal will give FremantleMedia Netherlands and Belgium the right to produce non-scripted formats in the Benelux region from BBCWW’s entertainment catalog.

The production partnership includes current library and future non-scripted formats, but will not affect any format deals BBCWW currently has in place.

“FremantleMedia Netherlands & Belgium are the obvious partners for us. They already successfully produce Great Bake Off (in Netherlands for NPO1 and will be producing Dancing With the Stars as the show returns to Belgium after a six-year hiatus with a new home on SBS,” said Jacob de Boer, global commercial director, formats production, BBC Worldwide, in a statement.
