Global content producer Story House Productions has inked a deal with Rock. Paper. Shoot. Media. founder and former Discovery Channel executive Nichole Bardin.

Bardin will shepherd casting, development, acquisitions and sales while also cultivating projects and relationships across linear and digital platforms.

She will work with Story House in developing content for both the domestic and international markets across all genres, including lifestyle, docusoap, crime, history and science. In addition, Bardin will work with Story House management on launching blue-chip, live and VR formats.

Prior to launching Rock. Paper. Shoot. Media., Bardin was a development executive at Discovery Channel and freelance developer for Sirens Media, Megalomedia and Earth Touch.

Bardin’s past credits include Cheap Eats for Cooking Channel, Killing Fields for Discovery Channel, Cursed: The Bell Witch for A&E and UFO’s: The Lost Evidence for American Heroes Channel.

“Story House has always been on the frontlines of innovation, and adding Nichole to our development team only strengthens our footing. As the entertainment industry continues to shift towards a digital landscape, adding Nichole will help expand our brand during these exciting times ahead,” said Story House co-president Carsten Oblaender, in a statement.
