American content studio and global distribution company GRB Studios has acquired the global rights outside of the U.S. to three unscripted series from Discovery-owned broadcaster OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
To Have and to Hold: Charlotte (10 x 60 minutes) follows a group of friends supporting each other’s relationships as they look at the challenges couples face, from troubled finances to potential separations.
Meanwhile, Ready to Love (pictured; 24 x 60 minutes) is a dating series featuring the real-life dating interactions of men and women in their 30s and 40s, highlighting the men’s observations and experiences in the search for true love in Atlanta.
Finally, Love and Marriage (21 x 60 minutes) centers on three high-powered couples who come together to revitalize the city of Huntsville, Alabama, through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group.
“GRB is known for its diversity, in both programming content and non-scripted genres. We are thrilled to acquire three fantastic, gripping reality shows from OWN and will be taking the programs around the globe. These shows provide an intimate look at modern life and we are confident that audiences around the world will relate to their challenges and successes,” said GRB’s SVP of international, Sarah Coursey, in a statement.
