Discovery-owned Oprah Winfrey Network has set a March premiere date for its previously-announced unscripted series Love Goals from Celebrity Rehab producer Irwin Entertainment.
Love Goals, premiering March 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, sees relationship therapist and television personality Spirit counsel five celebrity couples at a “crossroads” in their relationships.
Their challenges range from fame and power to infidelity and communication issues, as well as overcoming childhood trauma. Through a two-week therapy program, the couples will face their challenges head on and strive to achieve their “love goals.”
Appearing in the series freshman season will be: Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta stars Benzino and Althea Heart; former NFL wide receiver and rapper Dwayne “Money” Bowe and Theresa Bowe, who have been together for 11 years; actress and former Basketball Wives star Sundy Carter and boyfriend Breyon Williams; former Salt-n-Peppa group member Dee Dee “Spinderella” Roper and comedian Quenton “Q” Coleman; as well as rapper Coolio and his fiancé, Mimi Ivey.
Spirit was the host of Fox’s The Daily Helpline and XM/Sirius’ nightly radio program Talking with Spirit. Spirit is also a regular guest of HLN, Dr. Drew: On Call, The Bill Cunningham Show, and The Rickey Smiley Morning Show.
