Seven.One renews Germany’s Next Top Model for five seasons

ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group has signed a multi-season format rights deal in Germany with Seven.One Entertainment Group renewing Germany’s Next Top Model.

The agreement includes five additional seasons of the reality competition, produced by Redseven Entertainment for ProSieben.

Hosted by Heidi Klum who also serves as one of the executive producers, the German adaptation of the U.S. series America’s Next Top Modelpremiered its 16th season in February,

Format rights to America’s Next Top Model, as well as rights to the finished U.S. series hosted by Tyra Banks, are distributed internationally by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group.

levelFILM takes Canadian rights to Sesame Street doc

Following its world premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, levelFILM has acquired Canadian rights to the documentary Street Gang: How We Got to Sesame Street during the European Film Market.

The film (pictured) takes audiences inside the minds of Sesame Street creators, artists, writers and educators who together established the influential TV program.

Directed by Marilyn Agrelo (An Invisible Sign, Mad Hot Ballroom), the film was inspired by Michael Davis’ New York Times best-selling book chronicling the rise of Sesame Street.

The deal was negotiated by Hudakoc and John Bain, head of distribution at levelFILM, and Mike Messina, EVP of distribution for Screen Media.
