Red Arrow Studios International, the distribution arm of Red Arrow Studios, has upped Tim Gerhartz, previously SVP of global sales at the company, to president and managing director.
Based in the company’s Munich officer, Gerhartz (pictured) will be tasked with leading development, acquisitions, sales and marketing teams. Reporting to Martin Metzger, chief business affairs and commercial officer for Red Arrow Studios, Gerhartz succeeds acting president Joel Denton, who will stay on with the distributor until June to ensure a smoother transition.
Denton was named acting president of the company in June of last year, following the announced departure of Bo Stehmeier.
Gerhartz first joined Red Arrow in 2012, from a stint with Germany’s ZDF Enterprises. In 2016, he left the company for a sales post at Audio Networks, but returned to the Red Arrow fold in 2019 as SVP of global sales for the distribution arm.
“His wealth of experience, coupled with his enthusiasm for the business, first class client relationships, talent for building excellent teams, and of course his in-depth knowledge of Red Arrow Studios International, makes him the ideal executive for the job,” said Metzger of Gerhartz’s appointment, via a statement.
