Cuarzo will produce 13 x 100-minute episodes of the series that sends eight couples back to school to learn about sex, to air on Telecinco in the fall of 2011.

Created by TV2 in Denmark, Sex Academy features lessons, homework and classroom discussions, all which aim to improve the sex lives of the students.

The series airs on TV2 World in Denmark and TV Norge in Norway.

“We’re delighted that Telecinco has chosen to bring this fun, daring and open-minded format to Spain,” said Karoline Spodsberg, managing director of Banijay International. “It’s had a phenomenal run in Scandinavia and we believe that it will enjoy a similar success in Spain.”
