Cineflix opts for “A Gypsy Life”

In the first deal between Cineflix International Distribution and Daisybeck Productions, the distributor has acquired the international rights to A Gypsy Life For Me.

In the first deal between Cineflix International Distribution and Daisybeck Productions,  the distributor has acquired the international rights to 8 x 60-minute series A Gypsy Life For Me.

 The program follows a group of travelers as they journey to key events in the gypsy calendar, including Travellers Got Talent, a talent competition.

Daisybeck is filming A Gypsy Life For Me over the summer for AETN’s Bio channel.

The agreement was brokered by Nicola Andrews, Cineflix’s head of acquisitions.

“We received lots of interest in this title from a number of leading distributors but in the end we felt that Cineflix International would be the best choice to take this series to market, given their recent successes in factual and factual entertainment programming for British production companies,” said Daisybeck exec producer Paul Stead. “We felt we were on the same page about the potential of this particular brand and they really get what the show is all about.”
