Tricon picks up Lively’s “I Didn’t Do It”

Canadian indie Tricon Films & Television has acquired Lively Media’s crime series I Didn’t Do It (7 x 60-minutes) for international distribution.
The show (pictured above) is currently airing on Discovery Canada, Crime & Investigation UK, and Investigation Discovery in the U.S., and looks at wrongful convictions. The series is narrated by Chris Noth (The Good Wife, Law & Order).
“The gripping stories of these real life cases will resonate with audiences around the world,” said Jon Rutherford, Tricon Films & Television’s VP of distribution and business development. “I Didn’t Do It is a perfect fit for our catalog as we look to grow our investigative series offerings.”
Leanna Crouch, president of Lively Media and exec producer of the series, added: “I Didn’t Do It was produced as a classic police procedural, with the drama and the mystery of the crime is embedded in the narrative.”
