Autentic opens sales office in Cologne

The Munich-based producer-distributor will open a sales office in Cologne, Germany on October 1, to be headed up by Anne Hufnagel (pictured).

Munich-based producer-distributor Autentic has opened a sales office in Cologne, Germany.

The new outpost will open on October 1 and be headed up by Anne Hufnagel (pictured above). On the same day, the factual company will also begin working with WDR Mediagroup on non-fiction program sales and co-financing documentaries, and doc film series for the international market.

The move is part of the company’s strategy to become more accessible to producers in the German market.

“We wish to be close to the leading content producers of our domain and hope to mesh their competence with our know-how in sales and production in the future,” managing director Patrick Hörl said in a statement.

“Anne Hufnagel is an acknowledged expert with a great deal of experience both in international documentary sales as well as in the collaboration with specialized producers and content editors. We are absolutely delighted with this expansion of our team.”
