Linda Hamilton to host ID series “Over My Dead Body”

U.S. cable net Investigation Discovery has added a series hosted by actor Linda Hamilton to its summer schedule.

Due to premiere on June 15, Over My Dead Body (pictured) is a 12-episode docuseries about women who turned the tables on their attackers. The show is inspired by Hamilton’s “damsel-turned-warrior” character Sarah Connor from the Terminator franchise. Gulp Pictures is producing.

Other new series premiering on ID this summer include the network’s first scripted show Serial Thriller: Angel of Decay and the three-episode Women in Prison.

Returning series include Southern Fried Homicide, Blood Relatives, Facing Evil with Candice Delong and Jerry Springer’s Tabloid.
