Fox International Channels (FIC) will launch its first free-to-air entertainment channel in the UK on October 1.

YourTV, set to air across a variety of as yet unannounced UK platforms, will feature a mix of unscripted and scripted content geared primarily towards a female audience. Airing for 20 hours a day, series currently announced for the channel include Don’t Tell the Bride (pictured) and the UK premiere of Corrupt Crimes, which investigates recent crime stories.

FIC says the channel will also feature a range of cooking and food-oriented programming, including Baking Good Baking Bad, which features Paris-based host Harry Eastwood (Cook Yourself Thin) prepping a variety of French culinary treats.

Scripted offerings will include U.S. legal drama Shark, starring James Woods.

“Providing a daily treat of compelling scripted and unscripted series for viewers, YourTV is a fresh new destination for entertainment,” said Jeff Ford, managing director of Fox International Channels UK, in a statement.

A full schedule for YourTV will be announced in due course.

FIC’s brand portfolio in the UK currently includes pay-TV outlets Fox, National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild, and Baby TV.
