TLC, Gurney team for Jamie Lynn Spears special

Jamie Lynn Spears (pictured), sister to pop star Britney Spears, is stepping back into the spotlight with a TLC special.

The hour-long Jamie Lynn Spears: When The Lights Go Out – produced by Duck Dynasty outfit Gurney Productions – will follow Spears’ everyday activities as the newlywed manages her family life and young daughter Maddie while pursuing a country music career.

The special will focus on Spears’ trips between Louisiana and Nashville as she prepares to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, one of country music’s biggest events. Spears’ sister Britney and brother Bryan will also feature in the program as they come out to support her.

When the Lights Go Out debuts on June 26 at 10 p.m. EST/PST.
