Scripps to launch channel trio in Israel

Scripps Networks Interactive is launching a trio of channels in Israel.

Food Network, Travel Channel and Fine Living will be made available in HD via telecommunications company Cellcom from September 1 as part of a “basic” package.

Scripps titles headed to Israel include Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Paul Hollywood City Bakes on Food Network (pictured); House Hunters International and World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides on Travel Channel; and Giada Entertains and Million Dollar Contractor on Fine Living.

Programming will be subtitled in Hebrew, bringing the company’s total language count to 30.

Scripps distributes three lifestyle brands on DTT and pay-TV platforms across the UK and EMEA. The channels are collectively available in nearly 120 countries and territories.
