Altrock joins 3 Ball Entertainment

California-based producer 3 Ball Entertainment has appointed veteran unscripted showrunner and executive producer Jeff Altrock (pictured) as senior VP of current programming.

In the new role, Altrock will be charged with overseeing the prodco’s programming slate that includes such series as Spike’s Bar Rescue; and WE tv’s LA Hair. He will report to DJ Nurre, 3 Ball’s executive VP of programming and development.

Altrock most recently served as showrunner and exec producer on 3 Ball’s Kingin’ with Tyga for MTV. In addition, his past production credits include Lifetime’s Little Women: Terra’s Little Family, TBS’s Meet the Smiths, MTV2′s Mac Miller & the Most Dope Family, VH1′s The T.O. Show, A&E’s Kirstie Alley’s Big Life, MTV’s Meet the Barkers and Discovery’s Final Offer.

“His creative expertise and keen director’s eye have propelled an array of successful series, and we know his passion and vision for storytelling will complement and guide both our long-running series and new programming,” said 3 Ball Entertainment co-CEOs Todd A. Nelson and Ross Weintraub in a joint statement.
