Armoza Formats ups Yael Phillips

The Israeli format distributor and creator has upped Phillips from her marketing role to head of strategy.

Israeli format distributor Armoza Formats has boosted its strategic efforts with the elevation of Yael Phillips (pictured) to the post of head of strategy.

Phillips first joined Armoza in 2013 serving as head of marketing and communications, where she has been responsible for promoting the global brand, the firm’s production slate and its new product launches.

Her role will now be expanded to include oversight on the company’s strategic initiatives designed to unearth new growth opportunities for the Tel Aviv-based company.

Prior to Armoza, Phillips served as an account manager and media buyer at Silver Contact, an external relations coordinator at The Reut Institute and as an assistant brand manager at leading global beverage company Diageo.

Elsewhere, the Local Heroes producer has appointed Paula Schleider as a marketing assistant to bolster the company’s marketing and public relations division.

“We’re always looking for ways to move the company forward, and believe that these changes will help us do just that, ensuring that Armoza continues to thrive,” said Armoza Formats CEO Avi Armoza in a statement.
