BBC Worldwide has inked a deal with Endemol Shine Brazil to produce unscripted and scripted formats for the Brazilian market.

The multi-year partnership includes current library and future general entertainment and scripted formats, but will not affect any format deals which BBC Worldwide currently has in place in Brazil, according to a statement from the BBC’s commercial and international arm.

BBC formats already enjoy success in Brazil, including Bake Off Brasil, Mão na Massa, now heading into a third season for both SBT and Discovery Brazil. What Not to Wear, meanwhile, is in its 11th season on SBT.

This agreement will expand on that reach with titles like Hair, Dancing With the Stars and Stupid Man, Smart Phone.

“Our content resonates deeply with Brazilian audiences and by partnering with Endemol Shine Brazil the leading non-scripted formats producer in Brazil, we will be able to offer premium programming to broadcasters across Brazil and take great British formats to even more Brazilian viewers,” said Anna Gordon (pictured), executive VP and MD of BBC Worldwide Latin America and U.S. Hispanic, in a statement.
