Passion Distribution and sister company Pioneer Productions have teamed for the 60-minute documentary #Trump: How Social Media Changed the Presidency.
The history special uses archive, political experts and former members of U.S. President Donald Trump’s (pictured) administration, including Anthony Scaramucci, to explore how Twitter has changed political communication in America.
In chronological order, Trump’s tweets offer a timeline of key events over the last four years — from the 2016 election to immigration, climate change, impeachment and the 2020 presidential race.
#Trump: How Social Media Changed the Presidency will be delivered in March.
The hour-long film has already pre-sold to Germany’s NTV, Sweden’s SVT and Australia’s Network 10.
The documentary follows previous Passion Distribution and Pioneer collaborations, including the docuseries Secrets of the Superfactories (8 x 60 minutes); One Hour that Changed the World: The Moon Landing (1 x 60 minutes); and factual entertainment series Planes Gone Viral (8 x 60 minutes).
