Magnus Karlsson-Lamm, a former exec with Swedish broadcaster TV4, has been tapped to manage FremantleMedia Sweden’s development and production.

Karlsson-Lamm will take up his role as managing director on September 1 and will be based in Stockholm.

Reporting to Daniela Matei, FremantleMedia’s CEO for the Nordic, Central Eastern Europe and Balkan regions, he will work closely with divisions across the FremantleMedia group and with broadcast and non-broadcast partners in the Swedish market.

Previously Karlsson-Lamm held the role of acting head of entertainment and deputy head of the program department at TV4. He has also held production and management roles with MTV and SBS, and was a presenter for SVT.

“Magnus is a respected professional with considerable experience in the Swedish television industry, and his knowledge and skills make him the perfect fit for the already strong and creative team at FremantleMedia Sweden,” said Matei. “Magnus’ broad expertise in development, production, and management make him the ideal candidate to lead our Swedish operation and fuel the company’s future success.”
