Cooking Channel serves up “Food’s Greatest Hits”

Scripps Networks Interactive-owned Cooking Channel is feasting on the culinary world’s most-craved dishes in Food’s Greatest Hits.

Produced by Tricon Films & Television, the 14-part series will explore the history and facts behind some of America’s most iconic foods – from pancakes and hamburgers to corn dogs and ice cream – while plating modern-day twists for a team of “tasters.”

The series will also feature commentary from such Cooking Channel personalities as Roger Mooking (pictured, left), Eden Grinshpan (right), Alie and Georgia, Noah Cappe, Haylie Duff, Rev Run and Justine Simmons.

Episodes will follow the host of celebrities as they dive deep into such quintessential food groups as cheesy dishes; carnival treats; desserts; American diner foods; tacos, nachos and enchiladas; camping and breakfast foods; and BBQ favorites.

Food’s Greatest Hits premieres with back-to-back episodes on July 11 at 10 p.m. EST/PST on Cooking Channel.
